Fire protection in the village is provided by two fire districts, the Clemmons fire district and the Lewisville fire district. These districts have taxing authority and can set their own tax rate with approval from the Forsyth County Commissions.
To find out with district is responsible for your neighborhood, please view the Fire District Map.
To prevent emergency response delays, have your house number on your mailbox (both sides) and on your house near your front door and visible from the street. Help us help you.
To report a damaged fire hydrant, call the City-County Water Department at 336-650-7650.
Forsyth County does not have a siren warning system for dangerous weather. In addition to weather advisories that are broadcast through local TV and radio stations, residents are urged to buy NOAA Weather Radios that can alert you throughout the day and night. NOAA Weather Radios can be purchased at local retail stores and vary in price. Remember to keep an eye to the sky for summertime storms and be prepared.
